Thanks so much for the concept. Just starting back up after years and years away from music. I have loads of leaks in my horn -- as well as obvious, unidentified alignment problems, (horn sat in storage for years.) Because of this, currently, my horn WON'T let me produce a clear Bb-1, B nat. -1, nor a C#-1, if at all! (Very temperamental.) Ironically, I can produce, pretty comfortably, serval pitches above G-3. on most occasions, even G#, though 50/50. So, until I get those repairs, I have to be creative in practice sessions, being that I'm limited in what, and, what notes I can, and CAN'T produce, (I can't even do the needed overtone exercises, because of this! Very frustrating!)) CURRENT DILEMMA ASIDE, I have a sense of the approach you're sharing. I'm sure it will prove valuable once I have a repaired instrument. Can't wait to implement your suggestions. Thanks so much!!

you're not playing triplets over 16th notes; you're playing a dotted 16th note - 32nd note tied to a dotted 16th - 16th note pattern (both hands in duple)

Fortunately i would use them to connect my synths - mostly they unbalanced. Some years ago i found some for sale, but prices were crazy for that kind of gear - useless for almost everybody.

Can the jazz subtone be produced with the double lip embouchure?As far as I have been able to determine this, I have not found one single double lipper who could play jazz subtone while as yet excelling in the classical subtone.

I wish it had a layer mode instead, so you could assign 6 samples on the T pads and play them on one track. Would make it way easier and the device whole lot more useable. Well, at least to me as I'm looking for a performance sampler.

All great nice easy fix, However something caused the fuse to blow. Either the circuit has an issue, or there was a severe power surge which can be caused by a power up but something caused the fuse to fail. Current draw surges arethe main culprit. Eg. Powersupply issue filter caps transformer etc....

I figure since you made this video a year ago you can help me with my ADAT issue. I have a ALESIS XT and recently while connecting to a Patch bay notice that channels 3-8 are not working as inputs. If I plug up channels 1-2 input from my mixer AUX out I can press the individual channel Record buttons and see the audio metering for those channels. I used an audio signal tester to check each input but get nothing from 3-8.

The ADAT machines are digital (that's what the D stands for) I remember drooling over these in the early 90s when I only had a 4 channel cassette portastudio. A bump from just good enough to professional. But at $4,000, way out of the question.

Too complicated. Open case outside and either use a small vacuum or a leaf blower first. Let it air out for 3 days in your garage. Then head down to CVS or Walgreens and pick up some Tiger Palm. Grab 3 old playing cards and put a teaspoon on each card. One near headstock, one near body ofcourse. And one in middle compartment. Put it in close the case open it in 3 days you'll be shocked.

Been trying to work out what to call this, and more importantly, what key signature to use. I'm writing something that starts in G major, changes to G minor, and on the way to changing back again, there's a section with F sharp and E flat, but B natural. Either way there's accidentals; either F sharp in the key signature with a flat accidental on every E, or two flats in the key signature with the usual F sharp accidentals for harmonic minor, but also a natural on every B. Not sure which way would be easier to read for musicians, but luckily it's not a very long passage.

I have the LX20 and it records great. The only issue that I've really had is sometimes the tape won't load. Sometimes the guides get stuck but for the most part, it's been working fine. I actually used it today to lay a couple tracks down and I think the sound quality is really good.I guess my question for you is how are you hooking this up to your mixer and what are you defining as feedback? Is it "squealing" when you turn the volume up when you're arming record channels? The deck itself doesn't have record level adjustments on it so you would do that with the mixer. Anyway, those are very nice decks. I think if I read correctly, Alanis Morrisette used the ADAT to record Jagged Little Pill. Anyway, I hope you get your issues resolved.
